12. Tracking and Reverting Document Changes

Updated: Oct 6, 2023

Within version control, users can track changes. This allows for users to see what has been added or removed since that version and track changes for auditing purposes.

1. To review changes that have been made in a document, select the previous version you wish to look at.

2. This will bring up the selected version and the Track Changes icon will appear.

3. Select the Track Changes icon to view the changes that have been made.

The items highlighted in green are what has been added to the document since this version. The areas highlighted in red are the items or text from this version that have been removed and no longer exist in the current document.

In the event that you are reviewing changes to a document and you do not agree with the changes that have been made, you can revert the changes to a prior version.

To revert changes, simply launch your document and select the appropriate prior version from the list of available versions and select the Revert icon.

UniPhi will alert you that the process of reverting documents to a previous version is not reversible, as you cannot undo the change or go back to the removed version of your document.
