Creating Child Deliverables/Variations in Contracts

Updated: Jul 2

In UniPhi, you can group multiple deliverables underneath one 'heading' or 'parent' delibverable as seen below:

The same can be done for variations.

You cannot indent deliverables or variations underneath one that has already been claimed against.

To do this, create your parent deliverable first. See this video on how to create deliverables if you do not already know.

Then create each child deliverable as separate line items, as you would when creating a normal contract deliverables.

Once it is all saved, tick the boxes on the left hand side of the items that will sit underneath the Parent deliverable.

Press this indent button.

Now your deliverables will be grouped under the heading. The Parent deliverables' 'Amount' column will update to equal the sum of all its child deliverables.

If you need to add an additional sub-deliverable but there is already another parent deliverable in the way, press this arrow icon to drill in:

Then you can add multiple child deliverables at once without having to indent them. Simply press save and they will already be nested under the parent.

If you want to move existing deliverables to be underneath the parent deliverable, use this icon to move it upwards.

Then you can tick the box and indent as you did before.
