Step-by-Step: Raising Your First Client Claim

Once your configuration is complete and your deliverables are updated, you are ready to generate the claim document.


Pre-Requisites


  • Ensure all relevant Revenue Contracts have the same Customer selected.

  • Ensure a JV Management or Finance project exists to hold the claim document.


The Process


  1. Navigate: Go to the Documents tab within your JV Management/Finance project.

  2. Create: Click the New Document button.

  3. Select Template: Choose the claim template you configured in Article 14 (e.g., "Client Claim") and click Next.

  4. Set the Invoice Date: In the invoice step, ensure the "Invoice Date" field is set to the last day of the period you wish to claim up to (e.g., the end of the month).

  5. Calculate: Wait a moment. UniPhi is now calculating the value of the claim by aggregating all underlying Timesheet and Expense transactions up to that date.


Save: Click Save and Next, fill out any commentary fields in the template, and complete the wizard.
