Project types are typically created upon system deployment, though they can be modified at any time. If you do need to edit or create new project types, simply follow the steps outlined below.
To create a project type:
1. Click on the Configuration > Project tabs and navigate to the Project Types box:
2. Click on the Plus icon
3. Enter the name of the new project type. To restrict that project type to a particular sector, select the sector from the dropdown menu. Project sector and type have a one to one relationship. There only can be one sector linked to one project type.
4. Click on the Save icon

To edit a project type:
5. From the Configuration> Project, Project Types page, click on the edit icon
6. Amend the type
7. Click on the icon to update all projects that have been assigned this type.
