UniPhi OnSite – Issues Module

Purpose of the Issues Module


The Issues module is used to log, track, and manage project issues throughout their lifecycle. It supports structured workflows and contributes to overall project visibility and reporting.


Viewing Issues


Users can access issues across:

  • Their assigned work

  • Their wider project portfolio


Each issue displays key summary information, including ownership, priority, and due dates, allowing quick identification of urgent items.



Sorting Issues


Tap Sort


Select one of the following:

  • Project Name

  • Issue

  • Rating

  • Assigned To

  • Due Date


This helps prioritise work based on urgency or responsibility.



Filtering Issues


Tap Filter


Select relevant criteria:

  • Area (e.g. My Work or My Portfolio)

  • Category (e.g. Cost, Design, Defects, Change)


Tap Filter to apply


Filtering allows users to focus on specific types of issues or responsibilities.



Viewing Issue Details


Tap an issue from the list


The detail view includes:

  • Category

  • Assigned user

  • Due date

  • Status

  • Rating

  • Audit information (logged by/date)



Managing Actions


Open the issue


Tap Actions


Select an action to update


Tap once to edit


Double-tap to close or reopen


Each action represents a required task within the issue workflow and includes an owner and due date.



Using Comments


Open the issue


Tap Comments


Review or add communication


Comments provide a complete history of discussions and decisions related to the issue.



Typical Issue Workflow


  • Issue is logged

  • Assigned to a responsible user

  • Actions are created and allocated

  • Progress is tracked through updates and comments

  • Issue is closed once resolved


Best Practice


Assign ownership for every issue.


Use due dates to manage accountability.


Keep all communication within the Comments tab.
